LOCAL LOVE – Forgotten Bakery

Forgotten Bakery

In our blog series, Local Love, we are shining a light on local treasures. This month we’re showcasing, Forgotten Bakery, an incredible bakery that has opened just this year.

Right outside of Midtown, you’ll find Forgotten Bakery—a gem you shouldn’t miss. Owners Robby Naim and Paul Dollar are not just incredible bakers but also awesome people. They’ve transformed an old, abandoned building into a vibrant community hub, offering the tastiest bagels and Chilean-style empanadas in California.

Their beer-fermented, hand-rolled, and honey-boiled bagels have quickly become a local favorite. My personal top pick is “The Forgotten Bagel” with chive cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeno. But don’t stop at the bagels—their Chilean-style empanadas are a delicious nod to Paul’s heritage. These hand-folded pastries come in both savory and sweet flavors, including beef, spinach and cheese, and guava cream cheese.

The bakery’s warm atmosphere and delicious food have quickly made it a cherished spot for everyone who visits.

Support local and experience the love and care that goes into every bite.
