What makes you a great massage therapist?
I’ve always been passionate about how the body works and what keeps it from working effectively. I also have a passion for learning and I use every bit of knowledge at my disposal to meet my clients needs.
What type of bodywork do you like receive?
I love more targeted and clinical bodywork. To me there’s nothing better than getting off the table free of some troublesome aches and pains that I didn’t even notice until they were gone, and once again moving in a way I suddenly remember I should have always been able to.
What do you do when you are not at the studio?
I try to split my time between spending it with friends and family and continuing to learn about areas of interest.
Mountains, ocean, or desert?
Definitely mountains, I love climbing and hiking.
What is your favorite book or movie?
My favorite book is Thinking in bets by Annie Duke. It’s the best guide to decision making skills that I’ve personally ever seen. I think it should be required reading in high school. An entire class could easily be based on it.
Favorite Treat?
Perfectly ripe pineapple, when it’s nice and juicy.
